I know part of the reason I'm having such a hard time editing my newest book is because I rush through some parts to get to the end. I want to finish writing a book in three months, even while working full time. There are so many stories I want to write and I hate how long it takes me to finish each one.
Yet when I rush through the book, I have to edit twice as much. So it comes back and slaps me. But if I want to be published, I've got to get with the program and write faster and more importantly better. Feeling like a tennis ball here. Geez.
