Ode To Duct Tape

On the way home, I passed a semi and on the cab was a big square of duct tape. Somehow a corner near the door had been cracked/wrecked and the driver repaired it cheapy as possible. I couldn't help laughing. Guys use it for everything.

I believe I heard it called man's best friend on Home Improvement. Thought it was dogs, didn't you? In fact, it was on that show Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor make it clear to his wife it was pronounced "Duct" not "Duck". I bet before I watched that episode I said Duck Tape. Funny the things we mispronounce and not realize it.
