Several years ago, when I first started writing with thoughts of publication, I would purchase books on anything I didn't know, such as writing, history especially the Middle Ages, police procedures, poisons, interrogation, etc. I still use several of the books but mostly I Google whatever I want to know and go for it. I do know that not everything you read on the internet is correct, but it's amazing what you can find.One of my favorite type of websites is the chat rooms for police officers. They talk about everything you can imagine.
