Can You Keep A Secret?

I'm amazed by how someone will tell me a secret and then a few days later I'll hear that person told several others the same thing. Not that I was telling or asking, but the other people came to me saying, "Have you heard about...?"

Personally, I don't have many secrets but I understand a need to not tell everything. I haven't always been that way. In my ignorance, I thought everyone would appreciate my candor. That they understood it was only my opinion. That I respected other opinions that was different from mine.

So I try (key word here) to keep my opinions to myself. Well, and on this blog.
